I have my MP3 files stored on an external hard drive (500Gig) and I let the
file become quite large. It contains almost 8000 MP3 files. I tried to put
the files in seperate folders thinking that it would help to open the file
faster. I got about 10 folders done and had to quite. Now when I try to
open the file the processor runs for about 2 min then goes to 100% and the
hard drive hangs an I can't access the file. I have to shut it down using
the task manager. Can you tellme a way to access the file and what I should
do to prevent this in the future?
Regards and Happy New Year!

Have you set a limit on the size of your page/swap file?

Do you have at least 10 gig free space left on your C: drive?
