Canon 'pixma' 750 cartridges?

Hello, we recently bought a Canon (MFC) 750mp printer which seems to
be using up ink very quickly, mainly the cyan & magenta cartridges.
Any advice on 'compatables' and 'refills' please? (in theUK!).
thanks for any help

I HAVE AN IP4000 WITH A SIMILIAR PRINT ENGINE. I ALWAYS USE OEM INK AND
I USUALLY REPLACE THE YELLOW AND MAGENTA FIRST.

THE REASON I STICK WITH OEM INK IS:

1. I AM AN AVERAGE PRINT USER AND I DO NOT WANT TO RISK MY PRINTHEAD
FOR A CLOG

2. I LIKE TO DEAL WITH A REPUTABLE STORE AND WANT BRANDED PREFILLED CARTS.

3. I DO NOT WANT TO ENDURE THE MESSY PAIN IN THE ASS OF REFILLING.

4. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT I AM GETTING AND DO NOT LIKE WHEN THE MA AND
PA AFTERMARKETERS DO NOT DISCLOSE ON THEIR WEBSITE THE
MFG/FORMULATOR OF THEIR PREFILLED CARTS AND MOST WILL NOT TELL YOU IF
YOU CALL.

5. I WANT TO DEAL WITH A COMPANY THAT IS THE MFG/FORMULATOR THAT LABELS
THEIR PREFILLED CARTS BOTH ON THE CART, ON THE BOX, AND IN THEIR ADS AND
SELL IN ALL VENUS LIKE STAPLES, OFFICE DEPOT, FRYS AND COSTCO AS WELL AS
ON LINE.

6. I WANT INK THAT THE PRINTER IS DESIGNED FOR.

7. I WANT THE QUALITY RESULTS THAT THE PRINTER WAS DESIGNED FOR.

8. I DO NOT WANT TO SUPPORT THE FLY BY NIGHTS WHO JUST HIDE BEHIND A
WEBSITE.

9. I STICK WITH THE MAJORITY OF USERS WHO SPEAK WITH THEIR CASH THAT
OEM INK IS THE BEST.

THERE ARE MORE REASONS BUT THIS IS A START.

I buy from here: http://www.tylermartin.com/ and have no complaints.
They have excellent prices and quick delivery. I use their carts in
Canon's MP780 (cousin of the MP750 you own) and iP4000 printers. There
are other good suppliers. I can get the prefilled carts cheap enough
from them that I don't feel the need to refill at home.

BUT YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS IN THESE CARTS.

Look up jet-tec ,since you are in the UK. I understand they are a reliable
supplier of refill in and/or 3rd prty carts.

I have not heard anything good about that marketing organization that
sells unbranded ink. In fact I did read one post where the person had
trouble and they would not take care of him.

Try your local Cartridge World. Take in your cartridges and they will refill
them for you whilst you wait. No mess!
They give you a 3 month unconditional guarantee on the refills and warranty
your printer at the same time. You have nothing to lose. Ignore measerkite
He/She ahs no experience of refilling or compatibles, indeed he/she has an
oem web site. Says it all.
Check out www.cartridgeworld.org for your nearest store.

THE GAS MAY COST YOU $10.00 ROUND TRIP PLUS YOUR TIME. THEY CLAIM THEY
WILL REFILL YOUR CARTS WITH FORMULABS INK. ASK TO SEE THE LARGE BOTTLE.

Measerkite 'why don't you grow up?'
Why don't you ask Canon to show you their large bottle of ink that says made
by Canon?
You can't!
Instead of spouting rubbish as usual why don't you try something so unusual.
Buy compats or refil your cartridges as recommended in this news group by
the many of happy users before you denigrate it?

I HAVE NOT NEED RIGHT NOW TO TAKE A CHANCE AND BE STUPID.

WITH EVERY REV OF NEW PRINTER DESIGN IT WILL BE HARDER AND HARDER TO
REFILL AND TO BUY PREFILLED CARTS. THE ENGINEERING SOON WILL BE SO
COMPLICATED THAT THE SO CALLED COMPATIBLES WILL NOT EVEN WORK AT ALL.

BETTER BUY A FEW DOZEN PRINTERS NOW AND KEEP THEM IN STOCK LIKE A COUPLE
OF IDIOTS IN THIS NG DID.
TRY AND COLLECT. THEY WILL SAY IT IS NOT THE INK
YOUR PRINTER
HAS A COMPATIBLE SITE

Once again you are talking rubbish, you have never used their services so
how would you know?

(e-mail address removed) (compatible site?) for someone who hates compats and
refilling. I think not!
