Canon LIDE 50 Install Problem

I am trying to use my LIDE 50 on my wife's new desktop computer. It is
working fine on my laptop (which has been upgraded to XP Pro SP2
recently).

Her computer is XP Home SP2 and I downloaded the latest driver, and the
setup ran. When the scanner is plugged in it recognizes it as a
CanoScan (but the example pictures show CanoScan LIDE 50), but then
cannot find the drivers. I'm signed in as an administrator on her
machine and the scanner and cable work fine on my laptop. I have
unplugged the USB printer, but that did not have any positive effect.

I've used the delete driver program from Canon's site and tried the
whole process over as well.

Please disregard - I misread the 30 on the scanner as a 50. I used the
30 drivers and the scanner was recognized.
