I upgraded my windows ME version to Windows Xp Home edition. Since I did this
I cannot load my scanner on to the computer. There is no power from the USB
ports to the scanner. How do I check to see if my ports are enabled? I don't
have the option when rebooting my computer to go into the BIOS information
either. Any suggestions or answers would be great.

Do you have other USB devices that are working? Printer? Music device?
Portable Drive/Thumb Drive?
