I have suddenly got the error message "ink collection tank is full" and yet,
as far as I know, I doesn't have an ink collection tank. The printer won't
do a darn thing until, I presume, I can clear the thing.

Any suggestions on how to reset the message please?

The tank is not really a tank, but an absorbant pad in the bottom of
the printer that needs cleaned/replaced.
