cannot view second computer through network

both computers are running win xp home. i run the home
networking wizard on both computers. when i try to view
the other computer through the "My Network Connections" i
only see my own computer. im out of ideas on how to make
the computers see each other.
 
Have you turned on XP's built in firewall or are you using other firewall?
If you use firewall, you have to configure it to accept connections from the
other machine. Also it might be useful to enable netbios over tcp/ip.
