Cannot view custom field in Detailed Address Card view - Outlook 2

I've created a new Contact folder and in that folder I've added a custom
field, Hire Date, and saved it in my Personal Forms library. I've created
several new contacts based on this form and each contact displays the Hire
Date as expected. I've tried to view the custom field in the Detailed Address
Card view without sucess. I've tried to Customize the Current View and I see
Hire Date and the first field to be displayed however it doesn't show in that
view. Is there a hidden setting somewhere to make this happen?

In address card views, a field won't show unless it actually contains data.

Blank fields won't display unless you choose show empty fields under the
other settings button when defining a view. Only caveat is that while you can
display the blank field on your screen, I haven't been able to get it to
print out. Because I have a custom field that I cannot input data into using
Business Contact Manager I wish there was a way to print the blank field when
I am printing from the address card view.
