cannot uploaded video to Window Movie Maker

My short mov file saved on my desk top, and i tried to updoad my video files
to Window Movie Maker for editing, the message came out below:
001.mov is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows
Movie Maker.

As you have discovered, .mov files are not
compatible with Movie Maker. They can be
converted to a different format with the full
retail version of Apple QuickTime or you may
