Cannot upgrade to XP Pro from XP Home

I'm attempting to load XP Pro on a new Dell Dim 2400 with
XP Home preinstalled.
After about half way thru the upgrade, I get a
BAD_POOL_CALLER stop error with a 0x000000C2 error
message.

If I reboot, the install tries to complete, and the same
error comes up.

I'm stuck in a loop.

Have you tried looking on Dell's website to see if you can upgrade your version of XP to Pro? Sometimes you can't upgrade a pre-built computer. It all depends on the vendor.

I have the same problem. Is there expert person be able to tell us ho
to fix this issue? I appreciate your helps.
