Cannot update device driver in XP

We are currently having problems where our powerusers cannot update their
device drivers. This was possible in 2000 and we have not changed any group
policy settings. We have enabled the 'Load and Unload device drivers' group
policy so that local printers can be added, but we have had no luck with
trying to update drivers through device manage.



Any help would be greatly appreciated

In device mgr.,having the updates on a 3.5 floppy usual-
ly solves the problem,thats what xp looks for by default.
If no floppy,in the new window,use the let me search,
then list all,then locate the driver manually.You almost
do the oposite of what xp wants to do,with the 3.5 it's
a snap.
