Cannot uninstall zone alarm

After upgrading to RC1 I am having a great deal of trouble doing anything
with accessing the internet. I decided to uninstall zone alarm to let the
windows firewall take over, but I receive the following error message when
trying to uninstall

cannot stop the truevector service, please cloase any and all applications
and retry setup.

I have gone into the admin tools and acutally disabled the truevector
service and have verified it is not running, but I still cannot uninstall
zone alarm

Does anyone have any suggestions?
