Cannot switch between identities after installing XP

I installed Windows XP. When I tried to switch between
identities to check e-mail for the other identities, the
Outlook Express kept returning to the main identity e-mail
box. Anyone have a suggestion for this? I have checked
the support and I have a later version than the patch
listed on the website. Your help is appreciated. Thanks.
