Cannot start services

I was having a slow start up, so I used msconfig and unchecked some services.
Now, I have recheded in the box, but their status is "stopped". Also, I went
into the computer management tool and it will not allow me to start these
services. For example windows audio is stopped.

Also, I cannot use the recovery utility

I can get on to the internet, and download emails fine.

How can I get the services running.

You'll have to share what steps you're using where and when, plus the exact
wording of any error messages you get in order to get any targetted
assistance; otherwise it's all guesses and probably not the ones you need.

I had to manyually restart each service. Go start, then right click on my
computer, select manage, services and applications, services. From here you
can select each individual service. Then right click on the service and
select properties. From there you can restart the service.
