ok i did that and it now starts
how can i get all the settings over to the new profile

thanks

I have this same problem and it happens often. My husband does something
usually to fix it but that means restoring to a backup and I have to sift
through many duplicate emails and refile all of my emails into the folders
and delete the hundreds of emails that are duplicates.

I just want it to stop. What is a Mail applet?

Something is disconnecting your Personal Folders file from your mail
profile. You need to discover what that is.

Click Start>Control Panel>Mail if you're using the Classic Control Panel
view or Start>Control Panel>User Accounts>Mail if you're using the Category
view. The items in Control Panel you click to bring up a wizard or dialogue
box are called applets.
