Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook

Windows did an automatic update and when it restarted, I got the
message "Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the
Outlook window." I ran the command "Outlook.exe /resetnavpane" then I
got the message: "Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. The command
line argument is not valid. Verify the switch you are using." Does
anyone have a remedy to this? Please help!
