cannot send/receive using outlook

After trying to add a second account in outlook, my original account no
longer worked. So I removed both accounts, and started again. After adding
the account in outlook, the "successful" test message goes to my internet
mail account and I am not able to send or receive in outlook. What happened?
 
The problem is simple to solve. u have to click the help meny in outlook and
then choose the " identify and repair" choise. When you have started the
program close outlook and the process proceds, it takes about 20 sec. after
that you can send and recive again. To be sure you dont loose your previous
mail remeber to make a PST file before you start, just in case...

What version of Outlook do you have? When you try to send or receive, do
you get error messages? If so, what do they say?
