The host 'POP3' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the
server name correctly.
Account: 'POP3 (1)', Server: 'POP3', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110,
Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

idont have people pc anymore i woul like to send pictures whith yahoo mail
my new email addres is (e-mail address removed)

You don't have the proper name for your mail server.
You get the proper mail server names from your mail provider.
Who provides your email service? Or to ask that question another way,
what is the part of your email address after the @ symbol?
Your mail provider will typically have a web page that shows how to
set up an email program.

I see you posted with a yahoo.com.sg address. Is that your only
email address? I'm not sure whether the Singapore version of Yahoo
offers free POP access. Checking...
Yes, you're in luck. Follow these instructions:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/sg/yahoo/mail/classic/mailoptions/pop/pop-08.html

US-based free Yahoo accounts have webmail access only, no POP access.
Windows Mail handles POP mail but not webmail. There are two Yahoo solutions:

1. You can continue to access Yahoo mail (webmail) via your browser.
If you need help with that, let us know.

2. Pay Yahoo to get their premium "Mail Plus" service:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/overview/index.html
and use the special settings for that service:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/pop/pop-14.html

If you are OK with using a non-Yahoo email address, you have three other
solutions:
3. Use the email address assigned to you by your ISP.
4. Get a free Gmail account.
5. Get a free Hotmail/Live account, and use it with the Windows Live Mail
email program.

An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'questions from Cameron Bally', Account: 'mail.fordhemington.com', Server: 'mail.fordhemington.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 5.7.1 mB2LVKbC028524 This message does not comply with required standards.', Port: 1025, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC69

Fordhemington.com is a domain hosted by TELUS. I know TELUS supports port 1025
for hosted domains, but I'm not familiar with that error message, and am at a loss to
explain it. Perhaps your antivirus is interfering. Which antivirus are you running?
Some of them are not fully compatible with Windows Mail.
