I am currently using Microsoft XP Pro Edition. I am connected to other 2 pcs with os such as Microsoft 2000 Pro. Our PCs are all put together in a workgroup, but I cannot view thier pcs in my pc instead of just only can see my own computer. Btw, the workgroup is located under Microsoft Windows Network. Can anyone help me to solve this problem?TQ

Is ICF or a third party firewall enabled? Any firewall enabled on the
network interface that connects to the LAN will prevent you from
"seeing" other computers. ICF you can disable, others you will have
to totally un install first. Check all 3 computers please.

If that's not it, post back here with ipconfig for the three
computers. Start - Run - "ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt" - Open
c:\ipconfig.txt in Notepad - copy and paste into your next post (reply
to this thread please).

Cheers,
Chuck
Paranoia comes from experience - and is not necessarily a bad thing.

I have the exact same problem...i can see my own computer and access it but nobody else's appears, i have tried re-installing all drivers, removing firewalls and none of these help, i am about to reformat 2 of the computers to see if this will help and i will let you know
