Home Networking Guy

I have Windows XP professionnal edition installed on two
computers linked through a local wireless network at
home. Both have SP1 installed.

One computer is part of a home workgroup and have a USB
printer attached. That's the home computer. The second
computer is a laptop that is part of a domain at work. I
bring it at home to do overtime. Both computer link
through IEEE 802.1x. The USB printer is shared as a
network printer.

The printer installed is an Epson C84 with USB link. To
enable administration of the printer on both computers I
wanted to change the permission through the security tab
of the properties associated to the printer. For some
unknow reason I cannot see the security tab on the local
computer that has the USB printer connected. Yet I am
logged with administration privilege on the home
computer. Strangely enough I can see the security tab on
the laptop computer when I check the properties on the
shared network printer.

Is this a normal behavior? How can I have the tab
security appear to enable me to add security permissions.

Thanks
GB
