Cannot see frames page in "Code" view

I created a website that included a frames page in FP2000 working in Windows
ME, and it worked fine. Since then I had to buy a new computer and it runs
Windows XP. I also bought FP2003 and now I cannot work in "Code" view on my
frames page. It works fine in Design, Split and Preview views, but not in
Code view. I only get a coded page that states the message "This page uses
frames, but your browser doesn't support them". I know my browser DOES
support them because I can see them on my screen in the other views and also
if I go to the website thru Internet Explorer. My "allow frames" box under
the authoring tab is checked to allow frames, but to no avail. Can anyone
help me?

I think that frames have their own htm files that you have to edit
individualy. I have the same issue with inline frames. I can only edit the
contents of the inline frame on my parent page only in design view, the code
just gives me the coding for the creation of the inline frame but not its
content.

To edit the code for that inline frame, I have to edit the separate htm file
that the inline frame links to. Hope it helps. I use FP2003.

Frames are usually their own page in FP2000 from what I recall - but unless
you are really forced to I would try to get away from frames.

With a frameset loaded, FP2003 has 5 tabs under the page:

Design: You can edit any of the default pages in design view

Split: Edit any default page in Design view, or the code view for
the frameset page.

No Frames Design View for a browser that does not support frames -
this usually says "Your browser does not support frames"

Code Opens the frameset page in code view

Preview Allows the default pages to be previewed.


If you wish to see the code view for any individual frame,
right-click on the frame and choose "Open in new window"
