I encountered with a strange issue related to the Outlook 2007. It looks like
I cannot see all messages in my inbox in Outlook 2007.

I will try to describe all steps I have done.

- I installed MS Office Outlook 2007 from a scratch.
- Added some .pst files with my old correspondence.
- Made one of .pst file as default one.
- Configured the system to send/receive emails through GMail (I don't use
the Exchange server, but still cannot delete the Microsoft Exchange item on
the E-mail tab of the Account Settings dialog).
- Received my new emails from my GMail account.
- I could not find them in the Inbox ((
- I installed Windows Desktop Search and indexed all my files.
- After that I found my new missed emails with the Desktop Search. All of
them are located in the /Personal/Inbox folder, where "Personal" is name of
my default data file I configured in the Account Settings dialog.
- I can find my missed email with the Desktop Search even in the Outlook,
but I cannot move them into different folder.

So, I can see my new emails with the Desktop Search, but I cannot see them
in the Outlook Inbox folder.

I would appreciate any help and suggestions how to resolve my problem.

Thank you in advance!

What are the sizes of your pst files? I've seen similar behavior in
Outlook 2003 when pst files got to large. In one case when you looked
at a folder in Outlook, the top several hundred emails all appeared to
be identical and many appeared missing. Once I moved a large chunk of
the older messages to a different pst file everything was fine.

Hi,

Thank you for sharing your experience!

Unfortunately it didn't help. The size of my default .pst file was about
65Mb. So I created a new one and set it as default. I restarted the Outlook
and tried to downloaded new emails from the server. I cannot see them in the
new Inbox folder, but I still can find them with the Desktop Search ((
Where are my emials?? Help!
