Cannot save photo as jpg.

All of a sudden, my only option for saving .jpg files is as a .bmp file.
This just started a few days ago. I always clear out my temporary internet
cache and never had this problem before. I've read the microsoft articles
on this problem but nothing seems to help. Any assistance is greatly
appreciated. Thanks.

If you're using AOL
To turn off graphic compression in the AOL client
1. Go to Preferences in AOL.
2. Click Internet properties (or WWW in some versions).
3. Click Web Graphics.
4. Clear Never compress graphics (or Use compressed graphics in some versions).

I'm not using AOL.... I use a standard dial up to access the web.

Same thing is happening to me and I'm not on AOL. Not only, I used to be
able to see a folder full of pictures in "slideshow" fashion, now I can't.

Wassup? Some Windoze upgrade screwed me up?

Please clean out your HISTORY in IE before you delete the temporary
internet files. It does make a difference.
