Cannot run Search > For Files and Folders... function

Hi! I am a Windows XP user with SP2 installed and I came across a problem...

Whenever I want to search for a file, I click on Start > Search > For Files
and Folders... and nothing happens. The system just sit there and did not
perform any execution.

As for the 'On the Internet...' and 'For People...' function in the Search
category, they are working fine! I just couldn't get the 'For Files and
Folders...' function to run.

Could anyone please help me with it?

Thank you!

Hi!

I would like to thank you for the reply.

I've tried the method but still it does not work. Only the other 2 functions
work... Even then I select my Drive C:, right click and select on Search...,
it does not work also... No Search dialog window pop up...

Hope you can help in that, or anyone who knows...

Thank you!
