Hi! I'm running Windows XP SP2.

When I use the "find" function it don't work. i use Asterisk (*) *.jpg *.doc
or I type just a name in like "windows" but it can't find anything.

I have
"Search system folders" checked
"Search hidden files and folders" checked
"Search Subfolders" checked
And I am searching in the right drive.

I found already a topic about this problem on this site.. but it don't work
for me..
I hear that there is something you can do in the registry.. or something
like that..

I hope anyone can help me..

Sorry about my english, is not very good.

You can leave out the asterisk (*). Searching for simply .doc will display
all files with a file extension of .doc. As for searching for example
"windows" it will only show files that have that string somewhere in it
(irregardless of what precedes or follows it)
