Cannot remove Recovered Messages folder

I cannot stop Recovered Messages being sent to a Recovered Messages folder,
although there are actually no messages there. It just keeps accumulating a
daily dated (empty) sub-folder, all but one of which I can delete to 'Deleted
Items' folder.
Problem began when I used a fix for removing a ghost spam email from my
Inbox, and deleted Windows Mail store as suggested.

Not a great help, I'm afraid, Gary. I've downloaded WLM twice now (In case
the first one was crook in some way) and after checking Forums, found I'm by
no means alone in not being able to install the bloomin' thing. The 'fix' for
this seems obscure and complicated. Why can't Microsoft get it right?
Can you suggest anything? I thought there might be an updated Beta version
somewhere....

Thanks, Gary. Not a great help again. This time the program installs, sort
of, but insists I need an 'Online Connection', which I have - it's broadband.
Says a DLL file can't load, so that's that. Why can't it detect my online
connection, and install properly?

BigAl, I'm not the expert when it comes to WLM installation troubles.
You will get more help by posting in the WLM newsgroup, which you
can get to by clicking on:
