Cannot reinstall IE 6

Several days ago my computer crashed I had to reinstall the operating system
and all the good stuff. Before the crash I had IE 6 so after the crash I
tried to upgrade back to IE 6 because my system reverted back to IE5.5. I
keep getting this messae that some components were not added and when I try
to run set up again it says that there is an application pending installation
and I have to restart my system. I have done all that and I still cannot get
IE6 to install. Same message everytime. Also I am using Money 2004 and now
it won't run because it needs IE 6 inorder to work properly. Help. I am so
frustrated. I am using Windows ME.
