Ok I just fitted this new motherboard and I have noticed that it has Realtek HD Audio Input with NO STEREO MIX!!! This means that Fraps cannot record from games and that simply won't do! Is there any way to enable it? I really don't want to use the old "Line out" to "Line in" trick. I am DEFINATELY not getting a new sound card either.

No I am not stupid. It is not muted.

Infact here is an image of the recording panel. It is all greyed out!

Ok Fixed it, all ya gotta do for reference, is plug yer microphone into the back motherboard red port. (Don't worry it doesn't record from the microphone)
But I have a new problem: No volume icon in taskbar! It's not hidden. It's enabled in Ctrl Panel. Disabling and enabling it in Ctrl Panel does nothing. How can I get it back?

Yes, otherwise how will I adjust my volume. It is not in past items or current items.

EDIT: After powering down and rebooting, it's back again. Cheers for the help though. :)
