Cannot recieve emails with embedded photo's.

I have an elderly woman using Outlook for her email sever. She gets most of
her emails from me but occasionally I send her emails with embedded screens
shots with directions on how to do a specific task. She gets regular text
emails and ones with attachments but not the other. I see nothing in the
Options that would inhibit this. Any suggestions? Thanks for looking.

If she really has Outlook and not Outlook Express, the setting is under
Tools, Options, Security, Change automatic download settings, uncheck "do not
download pictures....." Also make sure Outlook is not converting all mail to
Plain Text. Then check Mail Format, Internet Format, check the first option
about Html format.

New development. She is using Outlook Express 6. So, of course, she doesn't
have any of the options you discussed originally. Any other suggestions? I
apprecialte any help you can give me.

I know this isn't the right venue for this but I'll save you some research;

In O.E 6 - Tools / Options / Security (tab) / Uncheck "Block images and
other external content in HTML e-mail"

I checked this out with her and the "Block Images" is already checked. Any
other ideas?

Was that a TYPO? "Block Images" should be unchecked.

I don't see anything else in the options that would block pictures other
than that.
