Cannot receive or send email

Hello,
Can anyone help? i cannot receive or send emails.

The error message i am getting is below.

The server that you are connected to is using a security certificate that
could not be verified.
The certificates CN name does not match the passed value.

Can anyone please help?

My incoming mail is from a domain name i have set up.
My outgoing mail is Bt internet.

Update, i clicked Yes on the last message, saying go ahead and still send,
and below is the new error message i got.

Subject 'hi', Account: 'pop3.beamingwhiteuk.co.uk', Server:
'mail.btinternet.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '250 8BITMIME', Port:
25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 250, Error Number: 0x800CCC7D

Any ideas on what is happening?

You only posted a send error, so I can't say much about your receive problem.
I don't think your mail servers support SSL.
Go to Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, Advanced,
then uncheck the SSL option (for both the incoming and outgoing servers).
