Cannot receive mail replied from Hotmail

Hi

can anyone help. just installed windows vista and are trying to configure my
e-mail. i have sent an mail to an hotmail adress which has gone through but
when then person reolikes from hotmail i not receiving it. Does anyone know
what to do?
 
Did the person who replied from Hotmail get a 'bounce' or non-delivery
notice? If not, then that email was delivered to your ISP's mail server.
Did you look in all the folders, especially Junk E-mail?
Are you receiving other email?

No bounce wAS SENT to hotmail user, HAVEN'T RECIEVED OTHER MAILS EITHER.
 
Does your mail provider offer webmail access so you can take
a look at what is sitting in your mailbox on the server?
If not, you can use http://mail2web.com.

Since you have received no mail at all, it sounds like
Windows Mail is configured for the wrong account.
What happens when you send an email to yourself?
