cannot receive emails from people!

I cannot receive messages sent to me by people.
I am receiving messages from advertisements, spam, and my bank, but not from
individuals.
this happened suddenly, no changes made on my end!

HELP!

Do the people who try to send a message to you get an error message,
or a 'bounce' or non-delivery notice? We would need to see the full text
of that, in order to determine what is going on.

No, they don't get an error message or non-delivery message. They tell me
they've sent me an email, but I didn't get it. I get a lot of "other" emails
though.

Have you looked in your Junk E-mail folder?
Also, if your mail provider offers spam filtering, you should look in the
spam folder in your online webmail.
