I have Outlook 2002 and Windows XP. When I opened Outlook, I got a Norton
Antivirus message saying Outlook was trying to access a certain port and I
should block it, which I did (I have no idea which port it was trying to
access and I've never received that message before). Now I can no longer
receive email unless I turn off the Norton Antivirus. It says my email server
cannot be found. What can I do to undo what I did? Thanks.

You may try this, if you havn't got it fixed yet.

1- Open Norton internet security

2- Goto "Personal Firewall" and click on "Config" button

3- Goto "Programs" tab

4- Scroll down in the "Manual Program Control" section until you find
"Microsoft Outlook", see if in the "Internent Access" column if the setting
is at Automatic, if it is change it to permit all. That should fix it.
