cannot read stylesheet from inserted HTML

My html file 'inserted as html' to my outlook e-mail does
not seem to pick up the styles from the linked
stylesheet.css on the web server.

tia for any help.
 
This is done for security reasons. If it can pick up a stylesheet it can
also pick up a virus?

You need to find differnt means I'm afraid.
