Cannot publish to web server or access web site from FP.

I have recently changed laptop and now cannot access/publish from FP to my
server or edit site with FP. Error message is that website cannot be found
on port 80. Server provider says no problems and FP extensions Ok. Just
cant make it work now? Any ideas?

Are you running any firewall software such as ZoneAlarm Norton Internet
Security etc? If so disable it or set it to allow FrontPage to access the
internet.

I am running Mcafee, but have tried disabling it and it makes no difference.

I am having this same problem. I recently got new laptop and desktop
computers and cannot publish on either one. I have set the firewall to allow
FP full access. It simply will not take my username and password and sys
that there is not a web at that address. My old computer still works fine
for publishing. Anyone have any suggestions?

Do you think the problem may be with IE or a different version of Windows XP

Thanks - sorted now - my internet security was blocking access although I
thought I had disabled the firewall. Thanks again.
