Cannot print right side of web page

Walter R.

This seems to be a generic defect of IE6: When I print a website that has
text close to the right margin, my printer cuts off at the right margin and
I get a print-out of a web page with the right 2 inches missing. The website
looks fine but the printed page cuts off the right two inches.

Is there a way around this nuisance? Does Firefox do this, too?

Thanks for any help

Print in Landscape mode?

Upgrade to IE7 and use its default Shrink To Fit printing?

Have you checked the margins at File | Printer Setup?

That's not the fault of IE or FF or any of them; it's the fault of the web
page authors who are too lazy or ignorant or lazy to pay attention to how
their sites display. Often they'll write code for pages on computers set
for one monitor resolution higher than most people use, too, and with tiny
print.

About the only solution is to switch Page Setup to Landscape mode when you
print the pages.
