I have a w2k server thai is used for file & print. Its also the exchange
server. no one can print via the print server. I believe it may be a DNS
issue but I cannot resolve the problem. the exchange/email is still working
but I cannot connect to the server from another location I get the message
account Login failure: the target account name is incorrect. If I used the IP
address e.g \\10.10.123.1\myshare I can cannot.

Hi - this is pretty vague to me and it sounds like you have more than one
problem. More information might help. If you post more details, including
error messages, clearly - you may get some more help. Mention what SP level
you use, whether this is a DC or not, what version of Exchange you're
running, whether there's anything going on with Exchange, where this "other
location" is, etc.....

Yes you are correct, its vague. Ok I have 3 servers NTSERVER01 this is a DC,
NTSERVER02 member server, NTSERVER03 another DC.
NTSERVER01 is used for file and print also exchange 2000 is running on the
server. Exchange is fine, NO problems. Users are unable to print from the
server but I discovered that this problem may not be a printing issue but
DNS. If I connect remap to the printer using the IP address instead of UNC I
can print. meaning if I use \\10.10.10.10\printer share name. I am ok. For
some unlnown reason, the two DC are nto talking to each other. I tried to
force a replication from NTSERVER01 with NTSERVER03 and I get access denied.
From NTSERVER03 to NTSERVER01 I get The target Principal name is incorrect

Not that it matters now, but note that it's best to run Exchange on a member
server.
Exchange is fine, NO problems. Users are unable to

Then let's take a look at your DNS. Try posting an ipconfig /all from the
server in question, and also from one of the clients.

That's bad. Event logs, please!
