Cannot print downloaded PDF file

Printer works fine but will not print PDF file. Printer attempts to satr
printing but does not complete the process. Nothing shows in printer queue.
Any suggestions

Perhaps you would give us more information such as do you want to print
through the pdf reader? And perhaps a bit more info about your system and
the OS.

Operating system is Windows XP. Printer is HP F335 All in One.
I downloaded a file user Acrobat reader Version 8. I then saved this file in
my documents. When I retrieve this file the printer will not print it.
Printer works fine with all other documents, it just will not print a PDF file
