Cannot print Avery Labels i.e. 5066 in XP could do it in Word 2000

In my law firm they have XP and when I am running Word and
using labels, for example 5066, it will not print flush to
the top of the label. This used to work in Word 2000. Is
there a fix for this error.

What people have to do is copy a template for a label that
someone had to fix up in order to run these labels. This
should not be happening in XP. Usually just request the
label in the Avery format and works in 2000 but not in XP.

If anyone has a solution or a fix would appreciate hearing
from you.

Thanks.

Hi Mary,

Rename the Normal.Dot template to Normal.Dot Old and then restart Word and
see if that makes any difference. If there is, or ever was a header in the
normal.dot template, it can cause the labels to be pushed down the page.

Please respond to the newsgroups for the benefit of others who may be
interested.

Hope this helps
