Cannot open User mangler on NT BDC in AD

I have a test lab with several NT BDCs and one WIN2k
box that use to be the PDC that has been upgraded and is
running Active Directory. When I attemp to access user
manager on the BDCs I get an error that says access
denied. Any ideas?

I am not sure why you would want to use User Manager at this point as it is
not AD Aware. Use AD Users and Computers for any changes and maintenance.

It sounds like to me you can resolve the netbios name.
Did you have WINS on the PDC before the upgrade?

I just took my WIN2K DC offline , left an NT4 online and
attemped to logon to a win2k pro box...it failed to
logon..if that's the case why leave any nt4 bdcs around?
