Cannot open PDF files

Now that I have updated with serve pack 2 for XP and it
also updated explore to 6.0. I can no longer open PDF
files with explorer. The add-ons are active so I have no
idea what else to do. Cannot download PDF they are links
only that the school controls tightly. Any suggestions?

Download and reinstall from Adobe. That worked for me for awhile,
but I
think it's a bug either with Adobe or IE as I'm using IE 5.5 and
Win98 and
the PDF ability just goes away. Many of the bugs that were in IE 5.5
were
carried over to IE 6.

Didn't get that one to work for me after messing around
for hours finally one of the suggestions from the adobe
newsgroup worked. The suggestion was to abandon adobe 6.0
for now and download a earlier version. I went and used
5.1 and it works fine.
