Since removing the 2007 beta and reinstalling 2003 I cannot open Outlook.
The Profile was corrupted and now the data file management does not show any
file types in the selection window.

How can this be restored so I can use Outlook again?

Create a new mail profile and configure it to use your current .pst file. Use Windows Search to locate the .pst file (enable searching hidden files/folders).

I have already tried that without success.
When I try to associate the data file with the new profile, there is nothing
listed in the New Outlook Data File window under "Types of storage:" so OK
does not become active.
