Cannot open hyperlinks in emails

I have XP Pro, and all of a sudden I cannot open hyperlinks in my email
messages. I get the following error message: This operation has been
cancelled due to restrictions in effect on your computer. Please contact your
administrator.
I am the only user, and I have never had this problem before. It was a used
computer, and up to this point have not had a problem.
I appreciate your help in advance.

You may have luck reversing what is probably Malware damage with this app.
