cannot log on from welcome screen

Help...was performing some spyware removal and stopping items from booting
upon startup and now, whenever i get to welcome screen and click on user to
try and get into system, screen flickers as if logging on, then quickly logs
off and goes immediately back to log on screen. I've tried to log on as
administrator, but same result. Also tried to startup with last known good
and also safe modes with no luck. Can anyone pls help?
