Cannot locate the CD-ROM

I have recently installed a couple of games, and when I go to play them, I
get a message saying "Cannot locate the CD-ROM" "Please insert the correct
CD-ROM, select OK and restart application". This has never happened before,
and I can still play games that I have installed previously.
Any ideas? All help gratefully received!

Some games require the CDROM even if they run off and installed version
