cannot load profile due to not enough disk space

The above happens on Win 2000 Pro even though it is still
showing space on disk. The above is the error that comes
up when you try to logon.

Here's an older reply to a similar issues from Jerold Schulman (MS MVP):

"Restore READ permissions for the Everyone group to the Windows_folder
folder and
all its subfolders.

This behavior occurs because the user name you typed during graphical user
interface (GUI) mode Setup contains a space or backspace as the last
character
at the end of the name, which causes Setup to create an incomplete user
profile
located in the %SystemDrive%\Documents and Settings\ Username folder.
