Can someone help!!!!!!!

I cannot load my cdrom soft ware..it says the installation
is reponding ..runDLL..not responding ...
HELP!!!!!

What software including version? Was it originally installed on this
computer. Was the software supplied with another computer or was the
software purchased at retail?
