cannot join domain after demote/promo AD

Dear all,
User from workgroup swtch to join domain stage , after key in
domain name it will prompt the login prompt , after key in the login and
password (administrator login and password ) it will prompt a error " the
following error ocured attempting to join domain "xxxxxx" the network name
cnnot found
so i demote the AD and promote the AD try login again to te domain server
,fund the problem still remain ? please help

An AD client MUST have DNS setup properly to "find" the AD domain.

The problem with trying to "FIND" the domain is based on DNS. If the
machines have your ISP's DNS address configured in their IP properties, as
Danny mentioned, then it will never "FIND" the domain.

If you can post an (*unedited*) ipconfig /all of your new domain controller
and from one of your clients, we will be happy to point to you exactly what
the problem is.
