Cannot Install Windows XP Home

I have replaced an old drive with a brand new 100 GB Maxtor which was
prepared with MaxBlast 4.0. When I use the manufacturers XP OS Recovery CD
(which has worked in the past on one similar installation) and boot from CD,
I choose the Install XP option and I receive the message, "An internal Setup
error has occurred. Could not find a place for a swap file. Setup cannot
continue. Press ENTER to exit."

My old drive is un-bootabe. I'm getting an NTLDR not found error. Really
stuck here. Any advice for me?

Hey DL mind telling the rest of us where the other post is? I have searched
for another post and cannot find it. I am having a very similar problem!
Any help would be great!

Thanks!
