When I try to install a game or run a game on my computer, one of two
meesages comes up:

WOWEXEC caused a general protection fault in module MMSYSTEM.DLL at
000A:0032

and

Windows cannot find 'F:/setup.ins'

I've tried to fix the WOWEXEC problem by running the Regedit.exe and
changing it to "yes"
and I've tried a search on my hard drive for MMSYSTEM.DLL and there was
more than one, so I renamed one, MMSYSTEM.OLD, and restarted my
computer. then did another search and made sure it didnt change it
back, but it did.

Nothing worked

You might try right clicking the application (game), choosing Properties
then the Compatibility tab. Run the application in a different compatibility
mode and try disabling visual themes and advanced text services. You may
need to play around with the settings or the application may not be
compatible with your operating system.
