Cannot install MS Train Simulator

S

Simon Holland

I have just upgraded my Hard Disk and am trying to re-
install MSTS into Logical Drive E: as E:\Program
Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator. I have successfully
installed other programs onto this drive but for MSTS I
keep getting the message: "The path you selected specifies
an invalid drive or the folder is invalid, incomplete, too
long or write-protected". Yet on the previous screen the
required drive and path display ok in the folders window.
I am running XP Home. The disk is an 80GB disk with
primary partition C: (31GB), D: (20GB), E: (20GB) and X:
(5GB). The E: drive is less than 1GB full.

Hi Yuriy

Thanks for pointing me to the thread - it helped solve the
problem. In the end I had to recreate the partitions again
and re-label the drive letters to get MSTS to install.

Very many thanks

Simon
